TJ's Christmas Pageant

TJ as Joseph with classmate Saree as Mary. How cute are they? It was adorable.

He was surprised by Grandma and Pawpaw sitting in the audience- he didn't know they were coming! So fun.

Our Christmas...

We had a great Christmas. It was a month ago. Here are some pics...

We combined Thanksgiving with Christmas for my family so this was actually our Thanksgiving dinner at my sister's house. She was nice enough to get her tree up early for the presents!
Dwaine's family came to SA for a few days the week before Christmas. This is cousin Meg loving on TJ.
And Alli having fun with Lyndee. The kids absolutely love getting to play with Lyndee and Meg. And mom and dad absolutely love having Lyndee and Meg around to help out with the kids :-)
Cookies for Santa!!!
TJ woke up before mom and dad and went to peek in the living room. When I heard him and called him to the back of the house, he claimed that he was just looking to see if Santa ate the cookies and "didn't see anything else." I think the giant basketball goal next to the tree was probably hard to miss- and sure enough, he later admitted that maybe he saw that. He's such a mess sometimes.

Uno! Our new favorite game to play.

Present time!
Later that day, we decided to brave the cold and get out of the house. We took the kids downtown to see the lights on the Riverwalk and the giant tree in front of the Alamo.

We decided to warm up in the Buckhorn Museum and the kids were excited to see all the stuffed animals.

Alli wanted to pose and get picture with everything she could.

When we were almost all the way through the museum, Alli wanted to know when she was going to get to see the stuffed animals. When we explained that these were the stuffed animals, she was really disappointed and said "I didn't know you meant stuffed REAL animals."

The Alamo tree.

I think we may have started a new Christmas tradition. I'm not sure if I have Dwaine on board yet, but he did sound interested in doing a carriage ride around the Alamo square next year.
Okay, I guess now I need to change my blog background.
