Port Aransas Trip- September
Haircuts
She had been with Daddy a while back to get his hair cut and I think she thought it was cool to be the one in the chair this time. We don't do haircuts often in this family, so this is still a new thing for the kids.
I just thought this was so cute!

Another Wheely Fun Day
So, we met up with Jack and our new friends, the Davis clan, for a super fun bike playday. You just can't beat getting together with friends and trying out all the super cool rides. The kids just eat it up...

At the start line: Jack (4), Alli (3), Tug (4), Austyn (3), and TJ (2)
TJ thought it was fun to go "super fast" on the downhill slope of the driveway. That's me trying to catch him from behind before he crashes. It was a very close call.

I'm Back!!!!!
"Where is Julie and why are there no new blog posts?"
Well, lets just say we've been staying really busy and having lots of fun this past month or more. There has been a river trip, a beach trip, visits from Ike evacuees, lots of playdates, Dwaine has been working from home more, and there was our awesome week long 1o yr anniversary trip without the kids.
I really don't want to skip blogging any of that stuff, so I am going to try to get caught back up. So my forewarning is that in order to do that, the content of my blog posts may suffer a bit. Oh sure, there will be plenty of cute pics, but I may not have time for the usual witty and entertaining stories to accompany them. Alright, who am I kidding- I know I'm not usually that witty and entertaining, but when I am it takes a lot of thought, hard work and time to accomplish it and I don't have time for that now. So be prepared for some bare bones blog posts and thanks in advance for welcoming me back with lots of comments!
Below you will see the first real new blog post (sorry about the tiny pictures- a mistake I couldn't take the time to fix).

First Annual Sabinal River trip
That was truly a blast and we even mastered some flipping techniques after a few head and back busters.
That fire is hot!
Alli decides she doesn't need the chocolate and graham crackers- the marshmallow is yummy enough!
The purpose for this next pose with all the kids was just to get them all in one place for the silly string attack, but it turned out to be a great pic too... And now for the attack...
Alli's first silly string experience. I think she liked it.
The kid's bedtime activity (a movie)...
The adult's bedtime activity... Just a really cute pic of some of the girls...
And the 3 happy couples...
Some pretty nice photography by some of the older girls!
