 A little uncertain about this.

The peacock courting was quite a show!!! Lot's of dancing and shaking going on!

The baby piggies were so cute!!!

Charlotte's 2nd Birthday!!

Charlotte turned 2 and we had a super fun gymnastics party, but apparently I did not manage to get any good pics. She was constant motion. Oh well, here's the best I got...
A little freaked out by the fire on her plate :-)

Using that tongue for concentration. She's a natural!!

...and a monkey!

Charlotte and her cutie pie friend that she shared her party with!! I mean really! Are they not just precious?!

TJ's 7th Birthday Party!

TJ turned 7 ... a really long time ago :-)

Apparently I had started a blog post and never finished. Could be because I haven't logged in to blogger in many months. Man, life gets busy ... especially with a toddler. But, I guess it's never too late, so here you go...
We had a swimming party at the neighborhood pool. Camo themed!! Helotes friends, Boerne friends, Church friends, old friends, new friends... loved it!

How convenient that one of TJ's best buds has a sister that just happens to be one of Alli's best friends at our new school. Gotta love that!

Alli insisted on going to the store to get TJ a present so this is what she got with her own money! He loves it :)
7 years of crazy fun with that boy! Kept us on our toes from the get go, keeps us laughing and smiling today. Love you son!

New Beginnings!!!

Allison and TJ's first day at Fabra Elementary...

TJ insisted on wearing his Helotes spirit shirt to "show them where I'm from." Ha! And of course Alli wanted to dress fancy!

Things went great on their first day!! Allison made a friend which was her biggest concern (although she couldn't remember her name) and her class even worked the school garden (how cool is that)! I didn't get many details from TJ but he said "yes" when I asked if he had a good day and that's a good sign - such a boy. That's about all I usually get and he WILL let me know if it wasn't a good day so I guess it really was :) And when I mentioned some little girl I noticed at drop off, he said "Oh, that's Hannah!" I was shocked. It's very rare for him to remember names especially after just meeting someone so she must have made an impression in some way (not sure if that is good or bad)!

Oh and Alli has a field trip to the zoo next week which is awesome cause she was really bummed about having to miss the field trip to the zoo at Helotes Elementary. I just love how things are working out. God is so good to us.

Halloween!!!

This year we had a blue butterfly, a pirate, and a skunk (aka little stinker) and as always we had a lot of fun and came home with way too much candy!!
Pumpkin Pizza for dinner! Charlotte is ready!!

My beautiful blue butterfly!

My pirate doing his best mean face and looking oh so cute doing it!

This was the only one I got of all three of them. Ha! She was having NONE of sitting still.
Plenty happy as long as mommy's holding her.

This little stinker is busy busy busy all the time.

You can see big sister Allison in the same costume at this flashback post. I added the flower to make it a little more girly this year.

First stop: Nana Pam's! A yearly tradition.

They know they can expect not only candy but presents from Nana Pam!

She was going crazy grabbing the packages and getting all excited. She didn't know what to think but she knew she liked it.

Big brother letting her have a little taste of his ring pop. Mmmm!

Fall Leaves!!!

Okay so I haven't blogged in forever. Life has been...well...busy. But I just had to share these pics of the kids playing in the leaves that finally fell from the trees this week. They were super excited when they saw all of them and immediately started tossing them up in the air. I just love that they are still young enough to truly appreciate and enjoy the little things in life!

Charlotte thought it was hilarious when she was watching the leaves rain down on Alli and TJ, but she wasn't too sure about it when they starting dropping handfuls on her. I had to tell them to back off a little because they were getting a little carried away.
